Are you a creative thinker, tech-savvy problem solver, or future innovator? Then the STEM Squad is for YOU!

Open to all 3rd through 5th graders at Sharp Creek Elementary School, the STEM Squad gives students the exciting opportunity to compete in district, regional, and state-level Technology Fairs. Members will explore real-world applications of technology while collaborating with teammates and designing projects that make an impact.

Competition Categories Include:

  • Graphic Design

  • 3D Printing

  • Photography

  • Digital Music

  • Robotics

  • Web Design

  • Mobile Apps

  • … and more!

What You'll Do:

  • Learn new technologies and creative tools

  • Work with mentors and peers to build original projects

  • Compete and present your work to judges at all levels

  • Have fun while building skills for your future!

How to Join:

Students must complete a STEM Squad Application and write a one-paragraph Personal Pitch explaining their interest and ideas. A teacher recommendation is also required. Spaces are limited, so bring your best effort!

Meeting Time:

Wednesdays, 2:30–3:30 PM

Cost:

$30 — covers T-shirt, lunch, and field trip transportation.
