Tiger Pride

The Tome Society is made up of a dedicated group of advanced and enthusiastic readers in 4th and 5th grade who proudly represent Sharp Creek Elementary. This team is limited to just fifteen students who are invited due to their love of reading and commitment to excellence.

Team members agree to read all of the novels selected by the Tome Society Committee. These books will be read during the school day under the guidance of Coach Kirk, with daily team meetings to read, reflect, and discuss the texts in depth.

As part of the competition, students will take part in an online assessment where they’ll compete against other elementary students from across Georgia. The questions will be based on the selected books, so preparation and participation are key!

This is a wonderful opportunity for readers who love a challenge, enjoy teamwork, and want to grow their reading skills while representing our school.
