The 2023-2024 school year will mark Mr. Jaye's 16th year as an educator, and first year as Principal of Sharp Creek Elementary School.  Previously, Mr. Jaye served as principal of Sand Hill Elementary School, where over the course of three years he successfully lead a strong team of teachers and support staff in making Sand Hill one of the top 2 schools for academic growth in Carroll County for the 2022-2023 school year.

Mr. Jaye began his teaching career in Douglas County, where over the course of 10 years he taught a variety of courses at Alexander High School, including mathematics, U.S. History, World History and AP Seminar for aspiring scholars.  After a successful career as a teacher and coach, he was named Assistant Principal at Douglas County High School in 2018, where he served as Director of the Freshman Academy and as the Coordinator for Student Support Services.

Mr. Jaye and his wife Brooke are the proud parents of two boys - Murray (9) and Braxton (6), and together make their home in Carrollton.  Brooke currently teaches mathematics at Central High School.  When he's not hard-at-work here at the Creek, you will find Mr. Jaye spending time with his family traveling, going to sporting and fine arts events, and working as an active scholar and researcher in the field of Educational Leadership and Teacher Support.
