I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville State University. I received my Masters of Arts Degree from Central Michigan University. I also hold a Educational Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University.

I started my teaching career the academic school year of 2001-2002. I have always taught at Sharp Creek Elementary. I have taught grades Kindergarten, 4th, and 5th. My current position has allowed me to serve 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students as well. I serve on the Instructional Support Team at SCE, SCE Leadership Team, SCE Writing Vertical Team, and SCE Technology Team.

Teaching is by far what I absolutely love to do outside of spending time with my family. I have several extra curricular activities that I indulge in when I find myself not with students....believe it or not!!!  I am an avid supporter of health and wellness. So, I visit my local Sportplex 5 times a week( when I am at optimal performance.) I also am very involved in missionary work with the local church that I belong to in Alabama. This local missionary church has a very large Children's Ministry, and it is a big part of me and my family's lives. Sharp Creek has been my home every since I left JSU and Alabama. I thoroughly enjoy being able to make a difference in the lives of children.
