I graduated from the State University of West Georgia in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

In 2010, I received my Master's degree in Reading and Literacy from Capella University.

I also have my Reading Endorsement.

Background:

My name is Tanja Cochran.  I have lived in Carroll County for most of my life.   I have been married for 28 years.  My husband, Thomas, and I live on a small family farm.  We attend Truth Baptist Church in Bremen, GA, where I am the pianist.  I was voted Teacher of the Year in 2010 at Buchanan Elementary.  I have taught for 20 years in second through fifth grades.  I truly enjoy teaching.  I am determined to help your child reach his or her fullest academic potential.
