Education and Teaching Experience

In 1997 I graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz with my B.S. in Elementary Education.  In 2002 I received my M.S. in Elementary Education from Mercy College in Yorktown Heights, New York. I completed my student teaching placements in a kindergarten classroom and a fifth grade classroom.  I have taught both kindergarten and first grade and worked as a teacher's assistant in a pre-K classroom.  This school year is my twenty first year of teaching. 

Biography

I am married to Bryan and we have a daughter and a son.  We have a farm with cows, goats, and chickens.  We also have a spoiled miniature dachshund and a Great Pyrenees who looks after our goats.  I have four sisters and a brother and I love to spend time with them.  I enjoy the great outdoors, cooking new recipes, photography, animals, gardening, traveling, shopping, walking and bike riding, and teaching.
