Amy Hilton
, Teacher
Hello. My name is Amy Hilton. I am a first
grade teacher at Sharp Creek Elementary. I grew up in LaGrangeville, NY
(a smaller town 60 miles north of NYC). I have a large family with four
sisters and one brother. I attended the State University of New York at
New Paltz earning my Bachelor's degree in 1997. I completed my Master's
degree in 2001 at Mercy College in Yorktown Heights, NY. I have taught
both kindergarten and first grade. I am married and we have a small
farm in Carrollton (goats, chickens, dogs). My husband and I enjoy
walks, gardening, traveling, cooking, going out to eat, reading, and
taking care of all of our animals. We also teach Sunday school to a
four and five year old class. I am very happy to be teaching here at
Sharp Creek Elementary! |

Chrissy Smith
Hi! My name is Chrissy C. Smith. This is
my fifth year teaching and my third year at Sharp Creek Elementary. I
taught two previous years at Bowdon Elementary. I graduated
with a Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood education as part
of the “tornado class of 2003” from the University of West Georgia. I
graduated as a Teaching Fellow from the University of West Georgia in
2004 with my Masters in Early Childhood Education.
I currently
reside in Bremen with my husband of five years, Ken and our dog, GiGi
(Georgia Girl). We are expecting our newest addition in February. A
baby ???. Ken and I enjoy spending time together doing anything
outdoors. We are members of the First United Methodist Church in
Bremen; where we also enjoy teaching the Senior High School Sunday
school class. In my spare time, I like sewing, scrapbooking, gardening,
watching college football (GO DAWGS!), and anything else pertaining to
outdoors or crafts. My true passion in life is teaching and hopefully
making a difference in a child’s future!

are all very close. I came to Carrollton in 2004 to start my bachelors
degree. I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education in May

cream!). I am so excited to be apart of the Sharp Creek family, and to
