  4. If I need my child picked up by someone other than myself or my child needs to ride the bus home or a different bus to another location, what do I need to do?

It is important the school properly verify that a parent or legal guardian has given their permission before a child is allowed to leave school with anyone or by alternate transportation. Please notify the school in writing if your child is supposed to use some alternate means of transportation (include a telephone number so that school officials can verify the information if they think it is necessary). In the event of an emergency, you may contact the school at 770-214-8848 and discuss alternate arrangements with the school secretary. School officials may require confirmation from some other person on the child's blue card if deemed necessary before any child is released to a non-designated person (please make sure you have completed the section on the blue card which identifies those who have your permission to pick up your child).

  5. What if my child has a problem at school or on the bus?

If you are concerned about a discipline problem at school, then please contact the school at 770-214-8848 and discuss your concerns with the appropriate school personnel. Faculty and/or staff members should be contacted initially in order to alleviate problems at school. If there are problems with bus discipline, you should discuss this with your child's bus driver. However, if problems persist, then the Principal or Assistant Principal of the school should be contacted.
