Deaidra is a native of Carroll County and graduated from Central High School. She has been employed by Carroll County Schools for 24 years. She attended and graduated from Southern Union before transferring to Jacksonville State University where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She received her Masters Degree from the University of West Georgia in Early Childhood Education. She completed her Educational Specialist Degree at Jacksonville State University. Deaidra taught kindergarten for 16 years at Central Elementary School and coached 8th grade Girl’s basketball at Central Middle for ten years. Ms. Wilson served as Assistant Principal of Roopville Elementary School for three years before transferring to Central High School. She enjoys sports and traveling. Deaidra is married to Curtis Wilson and they have one daughter Kobe Elizabeth. |

Mr. Holt was named the Assistant Principal for Sharp Creek Elementary at the conclusion of the 2007-2008 school year. This is Mr. Holt’s ninth year in Carroll County where he has served as a teacher, coach, bus driver and administrator. Mr. Holt comes to Sharp Creek after completing two years as Assistant Principal at Temple Elementary. Mr. Holt received his Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education from the State University of West Georgia. Mr. Holt completed his Masters Degree in Education Leadership at Jacksonville State University. Mr. Holt is married to Stephanie Holt who is a third grade teacher at Mt. Zion Elementary. The Holts have three wonderful children. |

I have worked in the Carroll County School System since 2000. I retired from the Oxford City Board of Education, Oxford, Al. I taught Special Education, 4th Grade, and worked as a Guidance Counselor for middle and high school grades. I have been employed at Sharp Creek since August, 2000. I received my B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M University, Normal, Al. I earned my Master (Elementary Education) and Educational Specialist Degree (Special Education) from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Al. I am happily married to Jesse Berry. We have two wonderful children and we are also grandparents. |
